Stephen L. McDonald, Sr. CEO, Funeral Director

Stephen, Sr. is married to Ann Boldon McDonald and is the father of four sons, Stevie Rodgers, Stephen, David and Kenneth McDonald as well as four granddaughters. 

 

He is the Owner of the McDonald Funeral Home and Cremation Services and is the Third generation of the McDonald family to own and operate the funeral home. He is a life-long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County. 

 

Steve attended Picayune Public School System, the Pearl River Junior College and the University of Mississippi. He is a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

 

Steve enjoys serving the community by way of numerous boards, committees and Civic and Fraternal organizations. He enjoys watching Sports, movies and visiting with family and friends.

Ann McDonald, who is originally from Arkansas, is the wife of Stephen, Sr. Ann is a Funeral Director and the Preneed General Agent for McDonald Funeral Home. 

 

Ann and Steve have four sons, Steve Rodgers, Stephen L. McDonald, Jr., David McDonald and Kenneth McDonald as well as four granddaughters and one grandson.

 

Ann enjoys walking, reading and her pets. She is a member of the New Palestine Baptist Church.

Steve Rodgers is the son of Steve and Ann McDonald. He is a life long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County where he graduated from Pearl River Central in 1996. Steve then graduated from Pearl River Community College with an Associate in Arts degree - Business Administration. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves and MS Army National Guard. 

 

He is married to Amanda Ladner Rodgers, and they have two daughters, Avery Rodgers and Olivia Rodgers.

 

Steve is a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Picayune.  

 

In his spare time, Steve enjoys running, yardwork, and spending time with family and friends.

Stephen Jr. is a lifelong resident of Picayune. He attended Pearl River Central and graduated from Picayune High School and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He's a member of New Palestine Baptist Church and in his free time likes to play guitar and read.

Kenny McDonald Vice President and Funeral Director

Kenny McDonald is the son of Steve and Ann McDonald. He is a life long resident of Picayune and Pearl River County where he attended the Pearl River Central and Picayune School Districts. Kenneth is a 2007 graduate of the Picayune Memorial High School. He also studied at Pearl River Community College.

 

He is married to Sarah Rayburn McDonald, and they have two daughters, Lucy Haselmaier and Josie McDonald 

 

He is a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

 

In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys any and everything Ole Miss, fishing and other sports. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kerri is married to David E. Mitchell they have three children Joshua, Keagan and Hunter. A native of New Orleans, LA., Kerri graduated from Picayune Memorial High School and attended Pearl River Community College. Kerri enjoys spending time with her family, reading, shopping and watching movies. Kerri is a member of Cedar Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and also attends Old Palestine Missionary Baptist Church. Kerri works in Bookkeeping, Life Insurance Claims Administration.

Maegan is a life long resident of Pearl River County.  She graduated from Picayune High School in 2007 and is married to Brannon Veazey and has two children Braylon and Emma Rae Veazey.  Maegan and family enjoy shopping and spending time with their familes. They are members of New Palestine Baptist Church.
